Remembering Captain Peter Shire
Peter Shire was a man whose heart soared as high as the planes he piloted. With a lifelong love for aviation, he dedicated his career to piloting all tpyes of people and training aspiring pilots, sharing his knowledge and passion with countless students. His marriage was a testament to his unwavering commitment and love, blessed with 7 children, over a dozen grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who carry on his legacy. Peter’s life was a tapestry of love, adventure, and family, woven together with joy and laughter.

To my wonderful dad, u have made so glad to be your son wen u adopted me @ 6 weeks old with mum all our family holidays we had together with be cherished a never forgotten. U have molded to be a better son wen I was going through hard times u was my rock my mentor my words can’t describe how im proud to be your son, I just want you to know im going to miss our catchup for my birthdays an lunches we had together over the years, im missing u so much i going to miss our texts an phones calls which u always answered, your the best dad ever go fly with the pilot gods an angels

A Tribute to My Dad
Dad was an exceptional father—caring, considerate, and always looking out for our family. His love for us was unwavering, and his kindness touched everyone who knew him.
He inspired me in so many ways, especially in my journey into pilot training. I’ll always cherish the times he took me flying, sharing his passion and guiding me with patience and encouragement. Those moments in the sky with him will stay with me forever.
More than anything, I am grateful for the love and dedication he showed to our family. He was our rock, always there when we needed him. His absence leaves a huge void, but his love and the memories we shared will never fade.
Dad, you will be deeply missed. Thank you for everything.
